At ARRO Missions, our purpose is to bring the Gospel to as many people as possible. We strive to show the love of Christ not only through preaching, but also by feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, and caring for the most vulnerable. Our ministry encompasses a wide range of activities to build God’s kingdom in Romania. Volunteers from Germany, Arkansas, and beyond join us in this mission, and there is still much work to be done. Our vision is to establish a homebase where many can be discipled and then sent out with teams to share the Gospel across Europe and wherever God leads. In just the past three years, fifteen churches have been planted through this ministry. We see God moving powerfully, and we are committed to following His lead.
A glimpse into the life-changing work of Arro Missions—serving, building, and sharing Christ’s love in Romania.
Dorian, who is the founder, was born in Romania. He escaped during the communist era to America. After many years God called him back to proclaim the Gospel. And has been doing so for 20 years.
Yes, mainly with Government authority such as police. They will tell us to go away and take the tent down. We do find ways around that.
Yes. When we distribute food to the poor, we run into (not all) but many families with alcoholic fathers. Some though turn their life to the Lord and are even involved in ministry.
Bibles are expensive in Romania and difficult for the average Romanian citizen to obtain. We will bring 100 bibles to an event. It’s first come first serve. When we set the bibles on a table they will all be gone in less than 60 seconds. We give out around two thousand bibles a year.
No they do not. In the bigger cities they have malls. In many rural areas there is a general store of some kind. There is something like that near homebase. The closest grocery store to homebase is an hour and half away. It has limited choices.
